because there is no advantage to buy the golem token in this moment, i believe the ark coin will be in top 20 coinmarketcap in the future, but there is a lot of other coin that makes difficult to the ark project in top 20 coinmarketcap.

I'm kinda surprised it keeps rising. I've bought and sold a bit in the past but it's looking more like a holding coin now.

I hold ark and many other coins but ark has the greatest wallet, community, and growth potential of all the coins I have. Nice thing about ark is you can actual use it and interact with the community and that's difficult to say is true for other coins. The next year should be interesting. A lot of the developments were done by the unpaid community but there's also about $6 million of funding available from the core dev still available.

One month update: we just took spot #19 at $410 million market cap ($4.20 each).

It will probably see a slight correction but I personally think the volume has still not yet peaked, it's just ~3000 BTC volume on Bittrex in the past 24 hours, which is high, but not as high as I've seen. I think we could see a peak of $7-10 before ARK starts correcting.

Why are everybody talking price in $? That depends how will bitcoin price going..

Sometimes ago I'am seeing review the price ARK. its so amazing start on 0.075 USD and now we can see change very good.

I'm pretty surprised too. With the liquidity it's been getting consistently, I would definitely think it will get somewhere around 8-15 range. One of the few coins that has been going up while basically all other coins have been plummeting the past few days.

Definetly, ARK has a great potential to be in a top 20 surely, I would even dare to say top 10! Also, I assume about price increase to 7-10$ before correction. Only time will tell! But definetly, ARK is a great long term investment.

No, Ark is very overvalued. It should be dropped anytime. Bitcoin price is also dropping so every altcoin got affected from this.
Ark marketcap is 411 million dollars now. In reality this project don't worth 400 millions, clearly overvalued.

Well you top 20 predictors are quite correct.  I got into ARK just after their ICO and have been rewarded ever since.   I do notice a funny trend with this dPOS coin - the staking percentage.

When I started, it was around 40% of coins were being held and staked.  Now over 53% of ARK tokens are being held, and voting for the top 51 ( or so).  Curious if this trend continues and people get value from buying an holding - it takes liquidity from the market, makes for more holders and so price goes up.   Even when the market has swung low on China news, the 50%+ staking has not budged.  Stake holders don't want to lose their spot.

Not sure where this percentage ends up however - if you imagined 99% of coins staking - does not seem that would be so useful.

I think its overvalued due to the staking. Those that got  it originally for cheap are minting lots of new coins. If they ever decide to dump them in to the market then the value is going to drop rapidly. Thats why it doesnt feel right to buy them with the high price from market right now.

Every coin which got a high price doesnt feel right when you are buying it. Even with bitcoin.
It is hard to say when the price will go down so we doubt it.
This ARK have been through many things and having a value like this is a big thing unlike any other coin which just go down after a crowdsale or an ICO. That is the right thing. It means some group is still supporting it. That is 80k in satoshis which is a lot of money now.

One thing that drops coins value in my eyes is high ROI for "proof of stake". If others are getting the coins for free why should I pay high price for them? If coin has like 10% annual through staking its hard to believe that it can become truly valuable. The most valuable coins in the market right now are not "proof-of-stake". You have to pay lots of money or work hard to get them (build mining rig).
 
According to this you can get up to 11% ROI yearly with Ark. Thats quite high I think:

I do hope the price goes up from 80k (I own some them myself) but I dont think its going to the top 10 atleast with the current rate of staking.

Zakhal makes a good point - It some how doesn't feel the same to put up $5,000 for dPoS coins as putting up $5000 worth of mining hardware.   

Logically $5k out of your pocket is $5k out of your pocket, but somehow it seems PoW miners have "done more". 

Honestly, I think this is just a new paradigm and if/when PoS is as robust as PoW, we'll look at PoW as wasted computing resources.
