Thank you for sharing your view! sadly there lies some true in it!
Of course there's truth in it.  And I'm not disparaging foreigners, but from the ones I've
seen here, they should not be participating in these campaigns and bounties, because
for the work they're required to do, they're incompetent.  It's not a hard job, but when
you don't know the language...when you do it wrong, it's a complete catastrophe.

My opinion is due to the duration of some signature campaign that always last long causing the members to be limited to another new bounty
See?  This post makes no sense whatsoever.  This is a great example of a post
that was made either to rank up or to get paid.  Bitcointalk is being flooded with this
crap.

Hello!

Lately it seems that getting members to join signature bounties became very hard till almost impossible. Hugh amounts joining social-networks bounties tho.

Are the big numbers of upcoming icos the reason?

OR what else could it be?

For the signature, yes I agree it's seems hard to find good quality posters/participants and most low levels (I hope we're not included Tongue) are active to their local board section. For higher ranks, what I observed, most of them are with services section where it pays BTC which is of course understandable. And if someone from higher ranks joined the bounty campaign, it means that they think it will be successful and the project is really good. I always see higher ranks (sr.-legendaries) as "matured" and knowledgeable people within the cyrpto community like this forum.

For social media campaign part, it's still easy to find participants but the problem is, not all are genuinely posting your campaign. They tend to spam and join ALMOST ALL available bounty campaigns out there. It's like they're collecting tokens for a value of few dollars.

That's because a lot of people have lost trust Alt signature bounty. Its not easy to work for a whole month and still yet get nothing. Gone are those days when you get good ones.
But its good say that bitcoin signature bounties is still reliable.

I don't think that they don't have trust. Its that more don't want to because its way too long before getting a reward. And its only fulfilling to high rank members such as Sr and Hero member you get the most of the stakes. Although Jr to Full Member are accepted, those members wish to get a week payment just like in btc forum. However this is not the just in bounties. But if I get to a Sr Member rank, I will definitely target bounties. I don't mind the long wait because its gonna be rewarding after 4-8 weeks of work.

Yes, I think the big number of ICOs is the main reason, bounty threads have increased Significantly during the past three months, that why the forum administrators decided to open dedicated section for bounties, moreover, most of campaigns increased their percentage of tokens allocated for bounty, which may reach upto %5.

It is really hard to find signature campaign participants today becaise of many reasons.  One of which is the time you needed to carry the signature,  since there are campaigns that requires you to carry their signatures for a a specific period of time therefore making it a hindrance for you to join other campaigns. Another reason is that most people who are willing to join such signature bointies are already part of existing campaigns.
This all makes participants for signature campaigns really scarce.

I think its all about language barrier and weak patience. My couple of friends are on bounty campaigns. I just talked with one yesterday, he told me that he didn't write anything cause he was lazy in last weeks and didn't get stakes. So this is one reason.
Another one: noone really knows anything other than mother tongue in most nations. Even educated people.

Are the big numbers of upcoming icos the reason?

OR what else could it be?

I think plenty of people are joining sig bounties. It's just that many more people are joining social media bounties. And the reason for this will be it's only possible to join 1 sig bounty, but you can join loads of social media ones.
So imagine 5 people and 5 ICOs... each person joins 1 sig campaign and all 5 facebook campaigns. So each FB campaign has 5 entrants and each sig has 1. I think it's just that.

In fact, the language barrier is not a problem. Right or wrong we have the ability to understand the meaning. The most important thing. Signature is a visual and therefore, the main effect it has. On the cryptocurrency market traditionally many Chinese. Maybe all the posts to write in Chinese?  Grin

are you sure? yes you say not disparaging but i still feel little upset. Not all are crap poster, please don't generalise.
-------
it's not about native english and foreigner, but about post quality. Yes it's up to campaign manager if he/she only accept english speaker, but i must say it'll also limiting chance to get money/investment from foreigner (looking at Chinese). coin devs won't care where the money will come from for their ICO

What I feel is he cause is because people are becoming more conscious with the series of scams concerning ICOs, then I want to be sure that I am not joining to promote scam which could soil my name in the process. Another is because people want to be sure of receiving their payment which bounties especially alt coins wont pay until the end of the ICO which might then take several months and sometimes might not happen eventually due to target not being met by the promoters of such ICO.

I think the big numbe rof ico coming up is the valid reason, one signature campaign usually last two to three months to last so any new signature campaign coming up will have a hard to get new campaigner because some of the members are into other signature campaign a member usually, look immediately for a new campaign the moment they are allowed to take out the signature campaign.
