So $100 difference, which one should I go for?

I heard the 40G hits 800 kH/s easily, but the 20G is stuck at 700-750 kH/s.

Seems like the prices has changed. The 20G model is now at $350, and the 40G model at $450. Personally, I would go with the Sapphire R9 280X Toxic (40G).
