In shot, for me bitcoin gold or as a matter of fact any other fork that comes out of bitcoin such as bitcoin cash are nothing but shit coins. So instead of trying to get my hands on this gold thing, i am buying the alt blood.

If any of you had BTC on Xapo wallet, you should have received your BTG.
They added a new wallet there.

I am not sure about BTG, anonymous dev with a controversial founder. The premine sounds really dodgy. Not sure it will be a real contender comparing to BCC let alone 2X fork.

Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Cash are not serious threats for Bitcoin and I don't believe they will have any significant effect on the long term on the echo-system. However, forks have the advantage of forcing open debates around serious issues.

I think, bitcoin gold and bitcoin cash are almost the same, not too popular without great effect in the crypto currency. It is just an ordinary coin that will reflect in the market.

As we all know another fork is coming. What do you guys think will it be successful like Bitcoin cash or it will be a waste of time?

Yeah there are lots of fork that is coming. So I think that fork will be a successful one but not like Bitcoin does. It's not a waste of time but I'm sure i't can't go higher or equal to Bitcoin.

Yes, I think it will be successful like Bitcoin Cash. If you have a good experience with Bitcoin, then it should be given a little 1-2 hours daily.

I disagree. Personally i feel like that the whole project is meaningless.

There are already multiple attempts at making coins ASIC resistant(Vertcoin, litecoin, etc. etc.) and their fork's main selling point seems to be people will only be able to mine with GPUs and not ASICs.

Also, if you do a little research, you'll see that they have some shady pasts. Also project has nowhere near the amount of trading volume as bitcoin cash.

Specifically  I don't  think it would be huge success  unlike bitcoin does, the problem lies here is many speculation about bitcoin gold are mumming that it is a scam.
