I read whenever I can, and I listen to audiobooks as well. There are few things in life I love more

Sounds kind of excessive to me, I'd rather apply what I learned from 10 books than read 50 and do nothing with that knowledge

To be realistic it would make me happy if I would read two books a month. In this context I like the saying "language shapes thinking" (and I´m not a native english speaker)

Possible for bookworms but it would take discipline. Thanks for sharing this. I will try to increase my reading capacity in a year (significantly)! Cheesy

you just need to start reading 50 books a year Grin
but seriously, there is a method of speed-reading, it says that it is not necessary to read the whole book from cover to cover, enough to read some chapters from the book that would understand what the book is about. Plus it says that there is a technique cursory reading, not to read every word in the sentence, it read like superficial. But in any case need to practice

Yep, reading is all about setting aside time. Of course there are many books about how to read faster, as you will obviously be able to read more books in any given year, if you are able to read books faster, while at the same time retain the same or more of what you are reading into memory. I also agree with the author of the article, a Kindle, or in my case a Kindle Paperwhite is an essential part to reading these days.
