Looking to discover any other functional precious metal backed/redeemable cryptocurrency. I know there are many trying to set it up but are there any that actually have a coin available not an idea token? other then AssetBase.io

I consider this coin to be completely nonsense and its creation is a very bad idea

Goldmint might be something you are looking for, launching Gold cryptoassets in Q4 according to their roadmap.

A lot of ICO's are complete nonsense. Nothing nonsensical about exchanging crypto coins one law away from being worthless for real assets. As well as would be useful for trading into for a stable price during steep declines.

Me too. Just by metals themselves, a coin is third party risk.
