So I gave BitInstant a try for the first time yesterday. I did their bitcoin to email option. Got home and the order was already marked "executed" and had an email saying that it was sent. So I log in to the email account I sent the bitcoin to to get instructions to collect my coins. That email is empty. Checked the inbox, spam, tash, no email. I contact their "support" via email and they don't answer, so I try again later. I finally get a reply saying nothing is wrong on their backend and that the email was sent. That's great, but I never got it. I checked my order over to make sure I sent it to the correct email address and I did. I try to email back and no response since. And get this, I was told if I want support that I need to do transfers during "normal business hours of 10am to 7pm EDT."

Ok so fine I go to bed and will check in the morning. Go to my email, still nothing from them to collect my coins. I go to my account and now my order is marked "complete". Say what? They haven't even bothered to respond to my follow up emails for support. It should be pretty obvious I have not collected the coins as you have to set a pin to collect them. At this point I think I have been ripped off. This was my first and only transaction with this site and I did NOT make any mistakes in filling out the information required. The site does NOT say they are not a 24/7 operation and their support is non-existent.

Anyway, this is a warning to anyone thinking of using them. If there is any problem with your order you can expect no support and I doubt I will ever see my money again. If I haven't heard from them at some point today I am going to start making complaints to moneygram and ZipZap about their business practices.

Sincerely,

One very pissed off one-time customer.

And now I have gotten their standard stall email claiming my ticket was escalated and it will take another 1 to 3 business days for a reply. All this comapny does is stall, stall, stall.

Was chatting with you earlier on Facebook. It seems they didn't like the thread we started earlier, because apparently they delted it and blocked me from posting on their page. Like I said I am at 9 days and nothing. If you think about what they told you, (1-3 business days) the 4th of July is Thursday and even if they work on Friday their basic time frame of 1-3 days has bought them an additional week to stall you. I saw your ticket number with them was in the 23,000's.My ticket was in the low 17,000's,now I'm sure that alot of the tickets are duplicate complaints but that is a lot of tickets in a short time.Again I wish you luck and hope things work out better for you.Keep us informed.
