Hi, I just changed to mining Zcoin with my two GTX1070's because it is a lot lower intensity and still gives a decent return. My computer is in my room and if I'm mining with neoscrypt or equihash, it gets quite hot and therefore noisy. With Zcoin it's at a steady 60C with lowish fan speed.

Are there any other coins that have low heat generation?

Yep - you can mine Credits(CRDS) with your CPU, but not your GPU. Decent returns considering the lower power draw.

The harder your life is the more meaning it has.

Just decease the power limit to 80 - 85 percent it cools down a alot and try mining poly it mines really cool.

Ya I usually also do decrease the power, but when mining certain coins it still goes to 70+C. Not really an issue, but the noise starts to increase to an annoying level. With Zcoin on 100% it's only 63-64C.
What is poly?
