I am very new to BTC... maybe a few months tops.

I think I have pretty much ran the gamut.  So far I have:

  • put 1 BTC in cold storage, printing my own offline wallet
  • Traded on gox, btce, campbx
  • bought instantly from coinbase and bitinstant
  • gotten scammed for 2.5 BTC (my fault, no escrow)
  • gambled 1.5 away over at just-dice
  • won a few mBtc at coinchat
  • bought 6 USB miners (currently mining 3 using bitminter)
  • bought hot sauce, usb sticks, and a ps2 memory card with BTC
  • bought stock in a mining company
  • attempted to sell some items (nobody has bought yet)

It's great! but what else can I do? What other aspects of bitcoin can I get into trouble with?  I'm thinking maybe do some local bitcoin sales... maybe loan out some BTC here in the marketplace.... what else? what's next?

(address removed, no begging)

Try this out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEs7G3Vku-4

I have gone from 0.90 btc to 3, and cashed out.

I lost 0.5 via this method, but if you message the youtube uploader, he will refund you.

This guy is crazy, he gambles with 1btc to show he can do this.

sure I might try that game, but maybe not with my own BTC.... I've already done some gambling.  It's a fun rush at first I guess....

What else???

What else???

Try to get paid in BTC for your own services.  What do you do for a living?  Can you offer it privately for BTC?

Hi,

Give my partners and I a few months and you'll be able to travel with Bitcoin. We are a licensed travel agency moving into the Bitcoin space. We are leveraging established relationships in Las Vegas, where we intend to begin services. You'll also be able to book travel outside of the Las Vegas space by request, prior to our roll out in other dedicated markets.

Bitcoin is very exciting. I am looking forward to other business services coming on board as time goes on.

I'm a .net dev for a specific piece of software.  Unfortunately I wouldn't trust myself to properly code with bitcoin related projects due to all the security risks.

hmmm... I'll think about that! that's a great idea!

I wish I could find a business or bar or something that takes BTC.  Doing a brick and mortar transaction with bitcoin would be another great thing to check off my list.

Thank you.

This is one reason we are so excited about BitCoin, and the community behind it. There is a real need for real world services to move into the space. On our end, we are very excited about the Las Vegas market. We have on the ground experience in Vegas, providing VIP concierge services through various outlets. With a phone call, we can literally get anything you'd want. We once had to fill an order for $1000 worth of M&M's for a client. He wanted them delivered to his room, put in glass bowls, separated by color.

I just hope other business outside of the tech space soon realize the opportunity with BitCoin and the community. Once the shift begins, our hope is the value will be cemented. I too want to try everything, so we're in the same boat!

We should be finished with the general layout for public view in a week or so, which will have a space for email launch notifications. I'll PM you when that is available. Our target launch date is September / October 2013.
