If I understood correctly, if there is a dispute and the parties don't reach an agreement, both lose their money, no matter who is the guilty one... so, if one is crazy, and prefers to lose money than see the other receive his money, even the innocent can end up losing...

Yes. You are correct. NASHX can't do anything those crazy people, it does allow buyers to check all transaction history of a seller before getting into a deal with them. So you can avoid those seller who might go crazy like that.

This makes me think of a scene in the movie Dark Knight where joker sets fire on a pile of money for his enjoyment.
