For anyone thinking about using EXMO as an exchange.....think twice!

I signed up for an EXMO account and deposited some XRP from another exchange.  This went well and only took several minutes.  I sold my XRP and bought ETH.  This also went fairly well.  I wanted to transfer my ETH back to another exchange to take advantage of the spread.  I submitted my withdrawal order (at 1313 hours on 12-29-17), and it has stayed in "Verifying" "Status" for over 9 hours so far and counting.

Meanwhile, the spread opportunity has come and gone, and my potential gains are lost.  I wanted to increase my position size, but now I can't.

Furthermore, I contact the "24/7" online chat four times to get a time estimate, but got no response.  I got a ticket and submitted a request to know how long it would take to verify my transaction, but still no response.

It can happen with any exchange therefore it is best to send tester amounts and work through those first. Btw I just found out that the person who setup the EXMO exchange apparently got kidnapped. That may or may not have been fake news but if it is true that is a reason as to why the exchange is operating slowly.

The website posted a statement that he's been returned but still in a state of "major stress" and not speaking out anytime soon.

Still, the slowness is lame. I imagine that's why they're trading at a premium. It's usually the case that there's a reason why something is too good to be true. If you haven't tried already, zb.com and now binance.com doesn't allow XRP withdrawals so that's another pitfall to avoid (the only way to get your money back out is to reverse your purchase at a loss since trading in the opposite direction has very low volume, of course).

Same issue. EXMO is the WORST. and NO the kidnapping of the executive should have nothing to do with how the system and/or the employees operate.

It happens to me too. I withdrawal USDT to my bittrex account. for 10day it was showing verify
I had to contact the support for 10 days, both on email, twitter, Facebook any means. I got no response
After 12 days the status was changed to paid, till this moment i have not received my withdrawal and it's
over 18 days now. I have been writing to support. No response.

Exmo is worst exchanges with worst support. stay away from it guys.

I mean..
it's been like 4 days since they cannot verify my account
on binance for example it took like 5 minutes

For the past days,EXMO has been getting negative review. I opened account for about a month now and up till now they can't verify me.

can't withdraw over a week, support ignoring. looks like they stopping business and running with funds
