I think to consider transaction costs, Try using nitrogensports wallets. this is the latest issue facing bitcoin. and That's why one of the biggest online gaming stores that is steam stop uses bitcoin as a way of payment in their game because of the high transaction costs that require me to consider lowering transaction costs...

What is wrong with fees?. it is much higher now. if you have any idea or a wallet that uses low fees i will be glad to hear about it. please share with me what you do with this silly problem.

Well for starters the demand of bitcoin is at all-time-high as well.

https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactions.html

Transactions per day chart doesn't really support this.

Spammers?   They must really want to waste money ... but also, if spam is increased, then becuase the transactions are relatively constant, then bitcoin (legit) use is not at all increasing.

and more and more transactions are happening.

... but they're not.

I've been using block chain wallet since I started joining campaign and it's true the fees really sucks now so I'm planning to use the wallet we have in our country it is good because it has no transaction fees when transferring funds to my bank account maybe because banks here supports bitcoin transaction. I think other country has their own particular online wallet so you can try searching

high fees due to bitcoins' high value, i think fees have constant values but it differs on the exchange rate, wishing for a low fees is the same as wishing for the lower value of bitcoin. but who doesn't want low fees? or maybe free  Grin Grin Grin

wallets are interfaces that enable you to use protocols that make fees higher or lower depending on the type of address you use.
some addresses give you 30% cheaper fees and others 60% cheaper.

you can use your old wallets but will pay more fees.
use new that that support seg2x or move to some altcoins.
fee is high and will continuous keep high until LN

The Law of Supply and Demand, I think is the reason for the high transaction fees. Competition, as always, will bring the rates down. But don’ expect FREE, transaction fees are the only thing certain in cryptocurrency. Live with it.

The amount of people cashing out is probably the root of casusing the high transaction fees. When you look at the price of bitcoin was sky high a lot of people wanted to sell and therefore the transaction fees needed to go higher due to these extra demands.

The price of bitcoin transaction is a big problem. For those who hoard bitcoin for a few years and bought it when the price was low is not a problem. Along with the growth rates of their assets grow and transaction costs. But for those who buy bitcoin now is a disaster. If this problem is not solved then there will not be willing to invest in bitcoin. I wanted to see bitcoin as a currency, but I'm not even sure that he will live with the price of the transaction. Sorry if this is an insurmountable obstacle for bitcoin.

So what do you suggest? We should not move our coins? The vast majority of the transactions will be users moving their coins from one wallet to another, either for trading or for investment in altcoins. There are around 200,000 transactions happening every day. You can't say that all of them are made by individuals dumping their coins for fiat.

Yess, me too is little bit disappointed with this transaction fee of bitcoin. To be true, I have my personal experience with BTC transaction fee. Initially I don't understand how the took transaction fee, then I come to know that if you buy a BTC then the prices are higher than when you sell it and in this process of buying at higher rate and selling at lower rate, they cut your transactions fee. Yes I agree this is quite irritating but I am kk with it because if BTC is providing you such a huge profit then they are also liable to take some transaction fee.

Hi, I dont think that we could say that fees are higher now. Its just the USD value of the satoshis we are paying that is increasing. If you would take a look back, most exchanges still has the same fees but because of the sudden increase of USD value for btc it looks like our fees are getting higher.

I think it will be a lot cheaper to get bitcoin as the lightning updates over time, which will be very beneficial to our trade.
