The article
https://cointelegraph.com/news/charlie-lee-bullish-on-bitcoin-and-litecoin-long-term-short-term-impossible-to-predict

This is part of the interview
CT: Why did you end up eventually leaving Coinbase?

CHARLIE: I left to focus on Litecoin. I’m spending full-time on Litecoin development right now.

CT: But you sold all your stake in that?

CHARLIE: I did sell my coins, but I’m still full-time on Litecoin development. I sold my coins due to conflicts of interest and not because I didn’t believe in the project.

CT: Do you think that any person who owns or works full-time on a cryptocurrency shouldn’t have any stake in their own coin?

CHARLIE: No, not necessarily. I think I’m in a special position because I have such a large social media presence, and I have huge influence on the future of Litecoin and price movement of Litecoin, so I’ve always felt a bit conflicted when I’m promoting Litecoin on social media and see that affect the price. Also the fact it is helping me financially — so I kind of wanted to remove the financial aspect from my work.

This guy is one of the best developers in crypto. I really like litecoin. If it dips below $75 during this crash I might buy some. I find it hard with my small bankroll to invest in coins over $50 atm, unless of course it's ethereum...

It was a good step  from Charlie Lee to sell all of his Litecoins.
Many companies avoided working with Charlie Lee and with Litecoin because Charlie had a strong interest that Litecoin will rise up in price, because he was a strong holder.
Because Charlie doesn't own any Litecoins at the moment, he can be free to work on Litecoin development and on partnership with other companies with the litecoin network.
More then that, I think that it was a really brave movement from his side to declare that on public.

The problem is pretty complicated by itself. From one side if you are one of the main developers in the company (ofc LTC is not a compay, I'm bringing this just for example) you need to have a big part of shares to be truly involved to the businedd. But from the other side your interest as a main stakeholder is playing a bad joke with the whole company. Charlie Lee is one of the best faces imong the crypto influencers.

That's actually old news, perhaps we should have focused on the rest of the interview! But anyway, anyone who knows me knows Litecoin has been my top alt for a very long time (yes, still holding even though it's half of its ATH). Charlie Lee did say he was prepared for LTC to be $20 again and has promised to not leave at least until ATH is achieved once more.

Genuine guy who probably tries too hard to please people (you can't please everyone!) but I wish more devs were like him.
