Hi

I signed up a few days ago, I made a post in the general discussion forum and had many replies. Then I tried to make another post and it was deleted, and then I could not post at all in that forum?

I have read now that new members must post in the newbie forum and wait four hours? If so, where is this newbie forum, is this it, beginners and help?

I am confused as to why I was able to make a first post and get replies and now this. Could someone help me out please as I would like to participate and I'm not here to cause trouble Smiley

Thanks

The place for beginners is here. You wrote the first post in Bitcoin discussion as a total beginner and wonder why you are denied access there. There discussing members who are many years on this forum and who are not beginners.

This is your first post in Bitcoin discussion:

"Hi everyone

I have known about Bitcoin for many years, but did not have the money to invest until now. I know many think it is a bad time and the bubble will burst, and from what I know there is no way of telling what will happen next, so it is just a risk to be taken.

It seems that as there is a dip right now that its not a bad time to invest. I am from the UK but currently living in Thailand for the next few months. Can anyone reccomend the best/safest place to buy Bitcoin if I'm from the UK. Is it possible when I am here in Thailand?  My cousin said he used an offline wallet called Electrum, but said I could just leave the Bitcoin in the accoun of the place I bought it from. What is the best thing to do, what site would you use?

I was thinking of buying £1000 worth, and just leaving it in and seeing what happens over the next few years. I do not plan to constantly buy and sell, or to build up a portfolio of other cryptocurrencies.

Does £1000 seem like a reasonable investment at this point in the game? Obviously if Id invested that at the start of the year Id be very happy now, but I guess the likelihood of similar returns in the next year are unlikely, but who knows!!

Also, are there other crypto currencies you think might be a better investment, or better to split with Bitcoin?

Thanks, any advice greatly appreciated"

Of course you can, if it is not beginner question that requires a lot of space and time, and if it is several times the issue discussed in this forum. Always look at whether a question has already been answered. Use a search engine in the forum.

That is your best option. Basically build up rank and you will be able to participate in airdrops...

things have changed a lot in my years of crypto and it is good to see steps being taken to keep people on the right path when talking, Many of them dont have full control over their mouths at the best of times.

I have exactly the same issue and searched on youtube for help, but found nothing. If someone can make a video of "how to ... in Bitcoin Talk"
and share it in the community that will be very helpful since this is a very popular forum more people will be using everyday.
