KYC is a necessity for ICO to avoid multiuser accounts. If you pass KYC, you will have a reward. And I really can not accept the ICO asking for an ETH to be able to get the reward. Too bad

I have been noticing this sometimes and I never send eth for neither bounty tokens nor airdrop cos it's definitely scam. I havent seen kinda projects that eventually become successful.

Recent on-board bounty programs find ways to limit the reward for the bounty hunter
- They asked for KYC after a few days and only announced it after the bounty program ended. These projects are increasing -> Should be announced from the beginning for the bounty hunter.
- Especially recently some projects have requested to send their ETH to receive tokens such as CIBUS, Betex ... These projects are managed by extremely prestigious managers such as needmoney .. -> This is not Acceptable and infuriating for all bounty hunters (there are those they just received ~ $ 10 but the fee they had to send ~ $ 4)
I find this to be unacceptable and create a bad precedent for forum projects. We have to speak up to protect the rights and efforts of the forum members

KYC is a good thing for some ICO and that is normal, also the announcement of having KYC at the end is another power of team and managers.
but the other thing you mentioned, that is not good, why you need to send ETH? that is not acceptable.

what would you say if you would need to activate the stellar wallet to get the Glitzkoin coins? There, too, you need to buy XLM.

These projects are managed by extremely prestigious managers such as needmoney .. ->
Have you ever noticed that a greater part of bounties managed by the Legendary "needmoney" last for more than 10 weeks (I've seen milestones like 14, 16, 17, 30 weeks).
Isn't that suspicious when a bounty campaign takes like 3.5 - 7.5 months?

I am definitely not trying to abuse anybody and feel sorry in advance if the above statements looked too subjective.
But personally I have made my own conclusions long ago on whether one should waste his time on projects that make their community work for half of a year without a decent reward.

Yeah, they should announce at the beginning of the campaign. It's totally unethical to do that, especially if they ask ETH to give the reward. The good thing is they can only do that for once. Cool

I think you guys should stay away from bounty campaigns like that Smiley. I don't see any bounty campaigns which require bounty hunters send ETH to be able to claim token from bounty campaigns. LOL. Let imagine there are thousands participants and how much ETH will they get after take $10 from each person? I think it's enough for them to buy a new car or maybe something more expensive than that. LOL.

It is not a good idea to see ETH to receive the bounty token, no bounty will ask for ETH to receive the bounty. So it is always good to join the bounty because no bounty manager will ask for ETH for the payment.

KYC is protection from multi-accounts, if you can prove your identity, and others can not, then you will get more payments!
Passing KYC does not guaranteed you more payments. Yes it is correct that some ico are doing it get rid of multi accounts, but having passed the kyc wont increase your payment in bounty as you have said this is for protection and not an additional payment. Also what the OP is trying to imply here is about the project need to tell the participants that kyc is needed before starting the bounty not after they finished the tasks.

it does not seem too important and should if you become a bounty hunter does not have to require ethereum first and do not hungry to send ethereum you have because bounty campaign it should receive payment instead of spending money.

Yes Im agree if there are any bounty programe required to pass the KYC, the should be announce when bounty just start. Because sometimes they are announce at the end of . And also I Have seen they are not allowed some country to participate. I know KYC is to protect from multiple account but it is unfair if we have to do the end of programe

IMO only scam bounty campaign of scam ICO project will require that. It's the reason why needmoney was tagged because of managing scam bounty campaign for scam ICO project. I think we should be careful before we join any bounty campaign. Don't forget to check everything about ICO project behind bounty campaign to ensure that we're not going to waste our time for a scam bounty.

Everyone hates it when managers change the rules. Specially so do to pay people as little as possible. We should talk about this more often and not participate in such projects.

People who agree to manage scam projects/bounties like this should be avoided at all costs.
