RX570 speed haf the expected speed

Hey there,

I am new to coin mining, but i have a question about my rig. I have a ASrock motherbord with 6x a AMD RX570 4GB with a 1700W PSU to mine with, but i experience a strange "bug" or something.

I have Simpleminer on Ubuntu as mining software where i told the miner to mine Etherium and Siacoin simultaneously.
Per GPU i have around 15 or 16 (17 when overclockingg almost 100MHz) MH/s, while people on the internet get around 30 MH/s with this cards.

Another strange thing is if we disable Siacoin to mine, the mining speed of Etherium will drop to 14 to 15 MH/s. Strange isn't it?

Is here somebody who can help me or tell me why this happens?

That videocard gave out hashrate 28-30Mh you have to modify the BIOS (to change the timings). How to do it and what to add timings in the BIOS you can learn by reading, for example this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0. It all depends on the memory manufacturer of your graphics card.

First off I'm super green with GPU mining.

I just set up my first rig and was experiencing something similar. My issue was that I forgot to switch settings from graphics to compute. I had to do this for each card in the RADEON settings app.
