https://imgur.com/a/dBaQoFVAOS is an implementation of the open source EOS.IO software. The distribution will be fair and independent of the EOS ERC-20 distribution. It will also be more secure, infinitely scalable, more decentralized, and have more regulatory certainty.
Fair distribution100% of the initial token supply will be distributed for free via an airdrop to the community, no strings attached. This makes AOS much more fairly distributed than EOS. As opposed to EOS's multibillion dollar ICO, where people's hard earned money went straight to the pockets of block.one and only multimillionaire venture capitalists control enough supply to create usable dapps, AOS will be distributed fairly to the community. This means every single developer will have an equal opportunity to create world changing dapps on the platform, regardless of net worth. More information on how to participate in the initial distribution will be announced soon.
More secureAOS will be more secure than EOS due to its superior token economics. EOS is targeting 1-2% yearly inflation or less, which is not sufficient for maintaining high quality block producers. AOS will have an initial inflation rate of 10% per year, decreasing over time. The higher inflation provides a huge incentive for block producers to produce for the AOS chain instead of the EOS chain. Thus, AOS is expected to be an order of magnitude more secure.
Infinitely scalableAOS will be infinitely scalable from the start. The EOS chain will not have initial support for parallel processing. However, the AOS network will launch after parallel processing has been safely tested in the EOSIO software to avoid any dangerous transitions. Combining parallel execution with the best available block producers will make AOS significantly more scalable than EOS.
More decentralizedAOS will be significantly more decentralized than EOS. AOS will not be controlled by a few wealthy venture capitalists who have personal interests that do not align with the community. Instead, voting power will be highly distributed across the community and each community member will have near equal say in important decisions.
Regulatory certaintySince there is no ICO nor are any initial funds reserved for the creators, AOS has far more regulatory certainty than EOS. AOS cannot be classified as a security and therefore could eventually be traded on more regulated exchanges such as Coinbase and Gemini.
The EOS killerAOS has a multitude of important advantages over EOS without any significant disadvantages. Thus, there is a high probability that it will eventually dethrone EOS as the most popular Delegated Proof-of-Stake blockchain.
