I do not know this scam or legal, before investing make sure you read Whitepaper thoroughly. Monaco and TenX are both very new, PlexCoin aims to provide Visa cards in Q1 2018, Invest as much as you can control.

Kind of surprised you guys were talking about this as late as mid-February, given everything that's happened with this project...

Honestly, the team didn't need to do much to avoid these legal troubles. Mainly, don't sell in highly regulated countries, and of course, don't guarantee profits to investors.

At the very least, Plex is a good example of what NOT to do in an ICO, whether you have a decent product or not...

well, they never guaranteed it and there was a condition to not live in USA...

though, I agree that there was ambiguous things and one can learn from plexcoin's errors

I wonder how it will end, but regulators have a hard time with the case.  SEC with personal jurisdiction and QAMF keep delaying ....

I still hope for a happy ending, ahah

Same!

If there were ever an argument that Crypto is a huge gamble, Plex would be it. It will either go to absolutely 0 after this whole fiasco... Or, it could 10x after they're cleared.

Still, better than a slot machine I suppose. Smiley

Invest that much you can afford to loose . I can find information about plexcoin in their website only. And don't know this is scam or legal. It is better to trade on poloniex or coinbase i think.
Plexcoin is now considered to be the next evolution of its predecessors, in many forums, they talk about Plexcoin as a currency that could be a market development and soon to be used by many. And participate in the future.

... You have to be delusional. I'm not saying Plex can't succeed. I think it could, depending on how the issues with the SEC go.

But to suggest that an ICO that is under investigation by the SEC is a sure winner, is just a dangerous thing to say.

what i wonder to most is why the SEC suddenly give matter to the case AFTER the end of the ICO...

everything stop at October 13th if I recall well, then SEC filled it suit in december... if they really wanted to protect from a possible fraud, they should have done something before right? but it seem as they didn't find it was dangerous while it was selling but when it started to gain value that was a different story!

almost 2 month after is really strange for an "emergency" action

PlexCoin aims to make spending crypto very easy. They plan to make PlexCoin Visa cards, just like a normal Visa card, but this one connected to your Plex Wallet. They're also saying that if they sell everything in the presale, Plexcoin will be worth $1.75 on launch. Thinking of investing in this one.

Maybe having something that looks like that of Centra Card, a project that uses debit card in its operations. I doubt these days whether you can see a project that is very unique. Anyway PlexCoin might have its unique features. You can invest in it afterall every investment has some elements of risk factors which are measurable.

I completely I agree with you @Cryptoguru274, you hardly see any project these days that is totally unique because some of them are copycat projects. Debit card incorporated projects are very rampant these days. Let us hope that Plexcoin Visa Card project will do it differently this time around. If you are thinking of investing your money in this project you can carry out due diligent operations to ascertain their level of security. However the company is not having any official whitepaper on ground for a careful study of the project. So be very careful with them.  Look before you leap! Thanks
