Why Bitcoin is taken more seriously than Dogecoin?

Why would anyone take serious approach on a coin that is not even in top cryptocurrency. Unlike bitcoin, dogecoin has not yet established its reputation to be a reliable crypto and about its volume and success is way far from bitcoin which has the most trusted by investors in digital currency.

 I am actually surprised that DOGE has survived until now and I think DOGE is the most successful shitcoin. I know its contradicting statement LOL, but it is true. DOGE was able to build a community that supports it.

People believe that Bitcoin is a very expensive coin. Has never lost anybody investing in bitcoin. Bitcoin can be valued like gold and converted to local currencies. On the other hand Dogecoin literally plays a trick.

Bitcoin is a digital currency that will be more focused than Dogecoin. As far as I know dogecoin is just a coin based on the meme Doge which is pretty popular in the internet in the past unlike Bitcoin that is the first digital currency on the blockchain and been improved and supported by a lot of people. Most digital coins are afffected by the dump of bitcoin.
