Hello, I'm new here-
We are a startup (https://homelend.io/) and I tried posting my idea but do people actually see my post?
Is it right to post my idea?
And if I posted my idea- why don't I earn merits?
What should I do better then?

Can someone help me?
This Bitcointalk is super useful but quite confusing for a beginner
Please help me:)

Earning merit points shouldn't be your main goal to post here. Why do you want them anyway?

Of course, that's the point of a forum.

You can see how many people viewed your thread above the first post.
Please refrain from crossposting (posting the same thread on multiple boards).

Well thank you, you are the first one replying me
I thought i'm posting wrong...

I want to earn merits because I want to grow and become popular here- not stay a newbie
Homelend will shortly have a bounty program and I want people to know Homelend before that.

Any idea's that can help me over here?
And one more question- why is crossposting not a good idea?

Thanks for your help!
I truly appreciate it!

Only spamthreads receive many replies in a short time, most serious threads take more time.

You can become Jr. Member without any merit.

Make a high quality post about it, including images, and leave out any irrelevant information. If I can't see what it's all about instantly, I'm leaving!
You seem to want to hold an ICO to sell tokens. There are more than a thousand who went before you, and they all have goodlooking websites with many pictures and a (usually BS) story filled with (empty) promises. For some reason, many people fall for that.
You're asking people to join you on telegram and watch Youtube. That means I stop reading and move on.

If you're promoting your site Homelend, why don't you get a new account with username Homelend? It's still available. Then, get a Copper Membership, so you can post images (with [img-tags]) and use a bigger signature under your posts.

And one more question- why is crossposting not a good idea?
It's considered spamming.

In addition to what LoyceV said, try to get people interested in your project. If it has value and you can give good and convincing reasons why this is so, you'll attract all kinds of members also those with higher ranks. Switch your goal, instead of hunting for Merit, reputation and post counts, give value to the community and you'll have an instant advantage over so many other projects.

Using YouTube, Telegram, Twitter, Facebook etc. isn't wrong per se, but you need to take into account that many cheap projects use exactly those methods. If you do the same you risk your project getting compared to those and by this being drowned in equally cheap bounty hunters farmers. In the end, this will help no one, not your project and not the forum.
