China has banned only the ICOs and not the usage or circulation or anything close to bitcoin. They haven't legalized it either. The condition of bitcoin is mostly the same in most of the countries be it China, India or most of the other major ones who contribute a lot in the bitcoin community. They do not recognise bitcoin as a legal tender and warn people that it could be a bubble and advise the people to stay away from it but on the same time they do not completely stop people from interacting with bitcoin and the crypto world either.

Hi ,my friend !
You're right ,China really did .On September ,the government of China banned the all kinds of cryptos trade officially .
Whatever ?

You know we were banned to search on Google also .Our forums is banned ,too .But we can also communicate to each other here although they're all illegal .
In fact, the government just wants to manage the mess of ICO in China ,and other folk practices they won't push so hard .

No matter BTC trade or minning in China .It's okay as long as the market and the Internet exist .

I don't think Google ban bitcointalk forum I still can see it on every Google queries I'm doing what you mean is the ICO advertisement from adwords, I'm still using Google but if they fail to show up Bitcointalk forum I'll definitely change my search engine preference.

Such wrong news are so easy to be spread over the internet. The sources of income where from people are earning, some other people becomes so happy to make joke of them. And this one news is one of such act. How can you even say google banned bitcoins forum as you are writing on that? Use your sense and ask can this happen? They think we are fool and don’t know anything.

It is clear after months of debate on this subject that the Chinese government were only targeting Crypto currency ICOs. They do not want money flowing into bottomless pits <scams> in other countries, so they effectively "banned" Crypto currency related ICOs. This has become a global trend now, because their are not some governing body that regulate these ICOs.

If there was some governing body, where ICOs could have applied to be approved as a legitimate ICO, this would have been less of a problem, but that aspect of Crypto currencies are still not regulated and it was easier for these government, just to ban it.

Didn't know about that. But if ever China banned Bitcoins they would have a problems in World Marketing and in currency update. Just why the hell they would ever do that kind of thing if ever??

China has recently been issuing regular advisories and taking steps to deter the use of cryptocurrency in the country. The recent development can completely eliminate cryptocurrency trading and mining activities in the world’s most populous nation.

These regulatory actions by China are aimed at controlling the increasing mania involving decentralized, non-regulated cryptocurrencies which have recently soared to astronomical valuations. However, despite the ICO ban and momentary decline, cryptocurrency trading continued in China, as many participants switched to foreign exchanges, like those based in Hong Kong and Japan, to deal in virtual currencies.

did china really ban bitcoin and cryptos? if so , wouldn't it be made illegal for the miners to operate in China? or what is the situation on this? very curious? thanks

Yes I think so that China banned bitcoin, its maybe because they think that it may affect thier good economy. and they prefer to push people to buy gold that cryptos. In my opinion.
