I strongly believe you need to set-up your attitude towards the forum. I mean:
- Why are you here?
- What are you seeking for?
- What do you want to learn?
If you are here with the goal of learning a lot about bitcoin or even about the forum itself, you will find many answers on the boards. Do not be afraid of exploring the forum. Besides, there are many related-places on the internet with a lot of information, like the Bitcoin wiki, where you can even download for free some important related books, as the one called "Mastering Bitcoin", here:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mastering_BitcoinRegarding the use of the forum, there are non-specified rules to follow in order to be accepted by the community in here:
- Never beg for merits (there are many beggers already and most of the people is tired of that).
- Never answer a thread if you haven't read it carefully or if you have nothing substantial to add (just take a look at the Bitcoin Discussion board, at any thread in there, and you will understand what I mean).
- Never start a thread with a repeated topic (just search before creating a new thread, repeated ones are annoying). Probably the answer you seek is been already answered in some other thread. You can use the search button ahead or google it by typing
Bitcointalk.org: and the question you want to propose.
Anyway, even when common sense is the less common of the sense, to have some perspective is important in here. Just care yourself and make good contributions. If you don't have any substantial thing to say, it is better to stay in silence.
Welcome on board!!
