I got my BFL order for two jallies this week. Sadly I have to report only one works and I don't have the funds to try to get a replacement from BFL. The one that works I got for my son and it is hashing away nicely for him. Sadly mine doesn't work on his computer or mine. I would send the dud back but as I said I can't afford to send it back from the UK to the USA as I have very limited funds. I only manage to get this hardware through mining using my graphics card but that has come to an end with the increased difficulty. At least my son is happy as are those at BFL who care little about customers.

Well the good thing was my son's worked and he's as happy as can be. I was wondering if I flashed the unit that doesn't if that might get it to work. My computer see's the jally but all the miners I've tried don't. Not sure if it is hardware or software that is the problem. I have read that the drivers are fuss. Saying that though my son's ran on my system. I tried the none working unit on his system with no joy, so maybe it is hardware.

Oh man I'm so sorry! Did you try the basic things? I mean, swapping the USB cable, power cable, etc?

I vaguely remember someone had the same issue and just reflashed to fix it. Best hope is to find someone local to reflash it for you. sorry to hear about your situation.

Tried different usb port and my son's computer. No luck. Even tried setting the usb timeout in windows for the driver. But still the miners don't see it. My son says he will use the first coin he makes from his to send it back and get it replaced. That will be a month or two before he has made enough I recon. It's just a bit of a bummer. Smiley

I understand you can flash it using a Raspberry Pi and some jumper wires.
