Coins not for sale

Obviously it's probably a bad idea to state specific quantities (unless you're on a throwaway via Tor) but do you have some coins earmarked as a base holding that you'll never sell? Maybe a chunk that you can donate posthumously to get a building with your name on it or something? Thus far selling has only led to regret. Mid-term I think we'll eventually have a mother of all bubbles and when we come down things will get a lot more sane as the currency finds its place in the global economy so the massive rises will subside. However the long-term deflationary aspect will continue to push hard with incessant block reward halvings every 4 years. Pretty sure the same can't be said for new gold production over time.

No, everything has a price for me.  I have some BTC and QRK that I will hold until the price is just too good not to sell, but they are all commodities to me that I might well sell.

See my problem with your perspective and potentially with the "Sane and simple savings plan" though not as much with that is if old fashioned money ends up being as valuable as confederate money, continental dollars, weimar marks, etc.

Sure you'll have successfully "cashed out" zillions of dollars. If you're spending them or using them in a business or something then that's great. However if you're just parking it in the bank for retirement it might be a particularly hollow victory.

At least the SSS plan usually results in you retaining something like a third of your coins indefinitely so I suppose it would qualify as a "coins not for sale" approved plan. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345065.0

Everything has a price. Has been said it before and I will say it also. All my coins are for sale at a price and this also depends of my personal needs on that timeframe.
Also , unless we find a way to take bitcoins in the afterlife , I will eventually sell all of them , or spend them.

My low amount that I will sell are 21000000.00 coins (with the decimal moved to the left quite a few).
