What happened? Did you trade without meeting him?

unfortunatly yes, he had a few succesful trades on the forum already, I checked with people he had sold things to.

So i thought everything was fine, but was scammed for 1.6BTC

If anyone wants to go to his door, they can get the 0.6BTC, im more than happy for that if you live in Alingsås

Have the guys, full name and address, tel number etc

If you have his info, and you have proof that he stole 1.6 BTC (6k+ SEK), why don't you file a complaint with the police instead of hiring someone to go to his house? I would definitely rethink this before inciting some form of vigilante justice. Good luck though and I'm sorry for your loss.

Police have been ivolved, by no way am i wanting vigalante justice. Just would like someone to hand deliver a letter and leave.

Just want him to know, i know where he lives etc.

Hopefully to get him to refund the BTC

If he does, all police action would be stopped

Ah fair enough. Sorry, I must have interpreted your post wrong, it seems like you are taking a sensible approach Smiley

May I ask why you can't just mail the letter or call him? Let him know you have the dox on him, and hopefully that will be enough to persuade him to send the coins back. I doubt it will, but maybe it's worth a shot. Either way, I hope it works out for you.

I have contacted police now. Took a statement via telephone today. They are going to investigate it. They said with the amount of evidence I have they will pursue it further.

Only way I will cease is a refund. If he does that. It ends there
