http://www.minetips.com/

On this website you can calculate your profit for all popular coins. Just enter your hash rate for scrypt and SHA-256 and you will see your potentional profit per day/month.

It's based on Coinchoose API and the latest BTC-E bitcoin price.

This is just a beginning. Please send your suggestions what would you like to see on this site in the future.

Nice site, but your calculations are REVENUE, Profit is what you have after costs of electricity and hardware.  If you wanted to do a profit calculator you would need to add fields for wattage use of the Hardware, electricity costs and hardware overhead cost and subtract all that from the revenue.

its not bad I guess, its dustcoin minus a few features. But meh...

Add support for all currency's that Gox uses -  %55.55 out side US to my site
Try not to use coinchoose as a data source - single point of failure - short term not so bad just cache his data?  long term is bad very bad (if he decides to close permanently your stuffed)
Try to use as many exchanges as possible and locally store the data - they go down a lot
Try to add power costs like dustcoin

Edit: you had me scared there for a minute (with the title) thought I had a direct competitor  Cheesy     (call it a mining profitably calculator)

You are awesome, this site is great.

Wattage and whatnot can come later if needed.  Most people already know their power requirements for their hardware, it's obviously the same across all coins & their are many wattage calcs out there already, but there are not many sites like the one posted here.  Definitely add YAC though Smiley

The CinnamonCoin difficulty is not correct, since a week or longer, since you get it with Coinchoose API it is not your fault, but running a wallet for each coin and updating the diff yourself would probably be much more accurate.

MineTips,

If you want it to be the ultimate calculator, you should aim a bit higher than just using the input from other calculators. You're just taking over their errors. Look up the difficulty in the blockchain itself. There's plenty of sites that allow you to do that in simple HTTP. You have a lot of potential, so go ahead and aim high.

The Sapphire brand like most brands are not very high quality. At least not to stand up to 24/7/365 mining. Mining, especially when cards are overclocked and even under-volted is extremely stressing on cards.

Same for the single fan reference models, their the worst no matter what brand typically speaking. They run far hotter typically. That high heat is the cards worst enemy too.

Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte would be my only choices after learning all I have. Unless other brands models have improved!

With the twin fan Asus 7950's being way the best in that entire field and series of cards up till the newest cards already on scene.

Don't know about the newest cards, but judging from the pics I wouldn't recommend those Sapphires to even a casual enemy. Way too many duds in the past from Sapphire. And not built rugged enough. Even the Vapor-x 7950's were not very reliable, and that is exactly what miners need. Reliable.

As for all the brands not mentioned. They are usually worse than the Sapphires.

Maybe more links to other top brands would be prudent.

 So...

Caveat emptor - let the buyer beware!
