I've used the site shapeshift.io more than a dozen times without a hitch.  Today however my internet somehow cutout during an exchange and it fell through.  The money never made it into my other account and I didn't provide a return address. I'm not at a loss for what to do.  I've emailed them multiple times with no reply and feel as though I've just been ripped off a full 1.00 BTC.   Anyone else have experience with this site?

Just wait longer for their reply.
I had the same issue before and took about 10 hours to see my coins in my wallet, maybe there was a problem with the client wallet.

There were two problems that arose.  The first being that my internet connection dropped out during the exchange.  Secondly, the new litecoin wallet I setup wasn't synced yet, which may be the problem.

But is it already synced?

If not, you can check in a block explorer, like this one: http://block-explorer.com/

I don't think you have anything to be worried about. Shapeshift is legit, I think they would have some records as to what happened to a particular 'shift', just try contacting them to the thread mentioned above with all the details, like from which address you sent, and LTC address you entered. Also check on the LTC block explorer to see if you have already received it.

Hi, there. We would be happy to help you with your issues. When exchanges fail, our policy is to always refund the customer. Will you please email emily@shapeshift.io and I will help you asap. Please provide your txid or deposit address so we can look into your exchange.

More than likely your exchange failed, because if your transaction is "awaiting exchange" it does not matter if your page refreshes or your internet were to cut out. It will still finish the exchange.

We will get your fixed and on to new exchanges asap  Smiley just shoot Emily an email.

One more thing to note, if your wallet is note synced, that right there is probably the issue. If you get that synced and there are not other issues, like your transaction having failed, then you will see your exchange in your wallet. Please do let us know, though.
