More so of a reason to use an exchange? Why are you even here trying to secure sale through this unsecured newbie section, where it's a game a trust?

Contacted acescoins via email.

He demanded that I send first via Western Union, even though he has no feedback, no trust, and no history on this site.

Clearly a scammer.
I'm not a scammer, Danny. I got a mail from your friend telling me about your good deeds and I took that as an avenue to believe your words. I was scammed of 17BTC on LBC after crediting a so-called 15months OP, how on earth should I send first to anyone?... I lost my life savings in less than 2months ago, and you want me to repeat the same very mistake once again? If I act like that, it's because I want to play safe. Please be patience in your judgement.

Use escrow, and don't try make these transactions on your own terms and as a newb or you'll look like a scammer to the rest of us.

Scammers tend to avoid escrow  Grin.

escrow is safe and secure... I'll use escrow if needs be. But are you aware some people fool out others by fake escrow e-mails???... That was how I lost 17BTC, but I'll accept if Danny Hamilton or Tarren will be used as an escrow for me. Those are the only people I've spoken with and I trust.
