people are buying constantly, but sometimes there's too many people selling and the price drops, right?
the influx of people who don't know what they're investing in caused fomo in the start of the year, and panic selling when price dropped.
then they'll come back to buy once it goes up again.

it's the natural cycle, people who don't care and just buys when the media tells you to, that's when it's actually time to sell..

Because most of the people buy only when the hype and bull run is existing, that kind of investors are the ones who fails the most. True investors knows when to buy cheap and when to sell high. People Buy when they're think that they buy at low price but sadly the price continuously falls down and this happens in many traders due of lack of knowledge about the coin they invested.

I'm sure everyone is obsessed with FOMO. Everyone is afraid to miss the opportunity to make money, so many people bought at the peak price instead of learning and buying good ico. Be calm and learn when buying ICO!

Actually that is my observation too. Whenever the prices high they feel like that the crypto currencies are going to be ahead of those higher prices but when it comes to the later part then all the currencies drop suddenly and that is the period when they start feeling worried about it. Now they shovel be holding at this point but they will panic sell it. When the prices will be dropped to bottom then they will keep asking the question that whether this is the right time to buy or not. Unfortunately this behaviour comes from the people who are weak handed.

Because most of the people doesn't have technical capabilities to analyze the tread of crypto currency market. So I suggest all the beginners to learn the technical things related to the crypto prior to invest.

I thnk, that it happens, because you can never know rather price will go higher or not.
Crypto is influebced by huge number of different factors, that is why it is very volatile.

The common mentality is this will raise constantly peoples are investing continuously but this will move to backward in suddenly they are all afraid in that situation. But many day traders and experienced peoples are investing in right time that means this will move to big dump. one day it will raise gradually so they are investing in down time.

People are not stopping to buy its just that sometimes there will be a massive buyers that buys at the same time so the more demand that is being visualize the higher the price can be, it cannot be helped since the market is constantly moving and is nowhere to be stable but it is a good thing for a others as some losses, some takes.

It is the most common behaviour on all markets, not only crypto, but regular stocks too. People starts buying when there is a hype for something, because they fear missing huge gains. The thing is, it's too late then, cause smart money bought way earlier. It's easier to buy on bearish market when you really belive the project will eventually be successful, and you don't care about quick profit.

That is exactly how bull trends start. Someone is willing to buy at higher price than actual market price (omitting bid ask spread for simplicity of the example) and hopes to sell even at higher price than that. Isn't it silly?

There are not all people who are buying at higher prices or selling at higher prices. There are the fee in the market who doesn't have a good knowledge of when to invest and when to sell your coins for the profit
They are just following others blindfolded
Because a good investor will buy at low stake and sell at high stakes of the market and those who do opposite of it might be they are rich already and does not care about their funds and they have just invested in this because others have told so and now also they are clueless this happens with them only and not with all that's why it is suggested to have a research about the topic on which you want to excel.

There is always the need for someone to buy and the other person to sell. Without a buy order, then holders will hold for nothing. Also, I think sometimes thsoe who buy at the highest price might be traders who'll recover immediately after the downtrend.
