I guess what I am asking is what program or app are you guys using that allows you to remote into your Mining Rig's from other locations?
I am looking for something that is user friendly that will allow me to spread my miners out in the house to distribute the load on the Electric.
Also want to have the access to my miners if I am not home.

Thanks

I'm a network guy so I have my home network setup so I can VPN into it, then use Microsoft Remote Desktop for the Windows 10 miners and VNC for the Linux ones.  RDC requires windows Pro editions (I'm using Windows 10).

Other Windows alternatives include Teamviewer and Splashtop (which is like $3 a month). I like Splashtop as I can use my mobile phone in a pinch to log in and check into things.  I'm sure others will chime in.   There are others out there - LogMeIn, etc.  I'm sure others will add to this reply, but Teamviewer seems to be pretty common.

I use Teamviewer but strictly with LAN only mode (Incoming LAN connections: accept exclusively) so the rigs can't be connected to outside my LAN - which is the extend I trust Teamviewer...

I use the free version because the business version prices are kind of a joke and there are no personal packages...

On the rigs I also start Teamviewer with higher than normal priority so they never close on their own - which otherwise tend to happen after a few hours for no reason.

Not your keys, not your coins!

Teamviewer is good , it will not load on your rig while operating ,you can access your rig through pc laptop or smartphone , lan or web connections and the best about it is that it's free for personal use Smiley

Are there any solutions to monitor all your rigs at a glance?

Get alerts for issues?

frozen windows, stalled miner , etc.

VNC is best.  Teamviewer is second imo because on login and logout you will notice a spike and i have seen it crash boxes.  VNC is the cleanest and simplest out there.

So I have been playing around with Teamview today.  It is actually working pretty well.  Like dagarair said, I have noticed spikes when accessing or ending access to a miner.  I am going to look into VNC and also Awesome Miner.  Thanks again guys for all the help!

You can use remote access programs like on premise R-HUB remote support servers. It allows remote access of all computers and mobile devices from anywhere anytime.

In order to run a mining rig remotely you can take a couple different paths depending on the level of control you would require.  There are some software options that you can use to connect to windows and manipulate programs and restart miners.
