Some users think that NEM - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=440185.0 - distribution is not fair because someone could created hundreds bitcointalk accounts to have more stakes and end up with having up to 25% of all coins. How do you feel about open your real world identity for receiving your stake if it helps to reveal scammers and prevent them to have more then 2-3 stakes?

Please pay your attention to the fact that as many "No" votes we get as many sockpuppet accounts voted and make your conclusions.

This is exactly what I proposed on like page 40 of NEM.
And for anyone who wants to make the "NEM should be anonymous" BS argument: noone is asking you to put up your facebook profile for everyone to see. Only the creator.

there is no way to change it now.

Plus, I could get as many of my neighbors to show their ID.

I get your point.

Just no way to do it.

I bought in an early stake, I sure as hell don't ever want to be on FB just so the OP can satisfy his bizzare anal retentive ethical moralizing combined with his obvious greed and envy that his free money might not be as much as he wants it to be.

Have you ever thought how bizarre it is you are taking a moral high ground over distribution of stake in software which has been entirely copied from someone else and charged money for the privilege?

Someone actually did the work for NXT and we are simply a clone of it. Being annoyed is ok but seeing it as a Moral crusade is weird.

It's not only that it wouldn't even work. How are the FB Accounts supposed to be validated ? Are you gong to send all of them a PM ?
With this thread you are making a joke of NEM and that hurts NEM more than sockpuppets ever could.

I feel like the OP and a few others have already kicked the wind out of NEM. I was excited about getting my stake and the idea of loads of us having access to a coin as good as NXT now I'm a little bit negative and depressed about it....cheers.

I question their motives as well. Why so much energy to ruin this coin, I wonder if they have a large early stake in NXT and don't want a serious competitor to damage their investment.

Just tell me, to how many of my FB friends should I write to act like they are NEM stakeholders, when time will come.
I need to know before I buy stakes "for them".  Cheesy

Really a genius idea.
