What sort of barriers to entry are there when it comes to Bolt?
- Crypto is a very crowded field where getting heard is difficult, even for projects with strong fundamentals.
- Legal issues are complex and evolving rapidly.
- Many Producers who do not currently use cryptocurrency tend to view the area as a "scam" or "ponzi."
Bolt has several strengths to help mitigate these issues. By filling a very specific unfilled niche, it helps us stand out from the crowd for the right people. As a philanthropic project, Bolt is also able to sidestep many, though not all, of the legal issues surrounding ICOs and money transmission. The philanthropic grant based nature of Bolt also helps mitigate the perception of Bolt as just another cryptocurrency scam.
I've been telling all my friends about Bolt. Each and every one of them agree the dynamic is desperately needed.
That's great! In a few days we're going to have a promotional campaign ready where you can earn BLT by inviting others to the community so you'll be able to test and share the technology directly.
Would you guys consider getting a designer on staff?
We have one person on our team whose core capability is design. Several of the other team members have some degree of design experience. Check out the
whitepaper for more details.
What's the most interesting DFO you've seen yet?
We're still in the stage of developing the first set of DFOs. The most important DFOs are the ones focused on developing Bolt's technology, distributing grants, and developing the community. I'm personally most excited about the Bolt Events DFO - they have a really great team with some interesting digital artists involved. We'll notify everyone who signed up at
join.bolt.bz once they've got things ready.
