PRODUCERS
Create your product and put it on the market. Sign up at join.bolt.bz and get notified
when new grants are available. Propose your project to a DFO providing grants near you and receive Bolt
to fund your dreams. Miners who select your project will send you the supplies you need. Once your project
is complete, sell your product for Bolt. Show the community your product and we'll share it with potential
customers.

BOLT DFO FOUNDERS
Run your own Bolt community project. Become a Bolt DFO founder. Your Bolt DFO is a non-profit with
a mission statement that enhances the Bolt community. Your project could be anything from developing
open-source software, promoting Bolt projects, bringing Bolt grants to new Producers, or anything else you
can imagine. Write a business plan, send your resume, and contact the community on Discord at
discord.gg/C9VRysG. The community will provide your project with the Bolt grants you need to succeed.






BOLT MARKET

MINING
Producers post requests onto the Bolt market in USD. Miners earn 1 BLT for every $1 of goods they fulfill
for Producers, though the exchange rate will change over time. Miners register with the Bolt Market and go through
a verification process to prevent fraudulent behavior. Sorting and selection of projects and Producers
occurs on the Bolt Market.

PRODUCTS
Products from Producers funded with Bolt grants are put up for sale on the Bolt Market. These products are
only available for sale in Bolt. Miners and others who acquire Bolt can exchange BLT for products at the rate
of 1 BLT for $1 of value. The rate will change over time based on exchange prices, but will be prevented from increasing
or decreasing by more than 0.4%/day to inhibit extreme price fluctuations.

DEVELOPMENT
Bolt Market is open source: anyone can run their own Market. The open source software will be
complete in early 2019. To be notified when Bolt Market is available, or to register for the closed beta, subscribe

We've redefined mining to adapt to the PoS era. In Bolt, Miners earn BLT by helping Producers. This can be as simple as ordering stuff online to be delivered to Producers to they can create their product. This allows the community to create a fair distribution of BLT to people who have made a real contribution to the project. When you're mining BLT, you're not just earning tokens, you're helping build the future economy.

Right now, we need to build up a small core dedicated community of individuals to demonstrate that there is interest in the project. However, the operators of the DFO need to be compliant with all local laws and regulations.

Several of our community members already have promotional/marketing DFOs planned. These include activities such as events, digital promotion, bounty campaigns, and community outreach. We're lucky that several of the community members have previous experience with marketing other tech and crypto startups.

You picked the right project!  We're very excited about Bolt and the economy it will soon foster.  Bolt came from a very simple consideration: How can we solve the governance and ecosystem issues with Bitcoin?  This led to a reflection on the current state of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, with its bloated transaction speeds, high costs, and security issues.  Bolt was designed to address these issues and others, taking the best of some of the top currencies and combining them into a new product.  You can read more about our process and the finer details of Bolt's tech in our whitepaper at http://bolt.bz/whitepaper.

Miners aren't "paid." Bolt tokens have no intrinsic value, aren't backed by anything, aren't securities, and don't promise the holder any benefits or future profits.

Miners can earn BLT rewards when they provide Producers with goods. Once the Producer receives the goods, they send the BLT to the Miner.

Miners can also earn BLT through the affiliate program. You earn BLT every time someone you invite finishes registration. You also earn a percentage of their earnings. However, the number of people who can enter the top level of the affiliate program is limited, so you should sign up at join.bolt.bz now to be notified as soon as the closed beta is available.
