Please help my account on BTC-E has been hacked and I have created many support tickets but they are not being answered.

I was in the middle of a trade when I was logged off then my password was changed.

My email address was also compromised and thats how I believe they were able to get on to my account.

Does anyone have any way of freezing my account 'binaryclock' on btc-e until this is resolved?

Anyone have any way of contacting BTC-E support?

Obviously this is a time sensitive issue as after my password is changed they can't transfer anything off btc-e for 48 hours and it's already been 24!

Please help!!!

Thanks Sad

UPDATE: Support is working with me to restore the account.  Coins are still there thank god to their 48 hour no transfer feature Smiley

I've emailed support, opened tickets, even the owner of Cryptsy tried to contact the owner of BTC-e for me.  Nothing.

If they can't answer my request in time and the hacker gets my stuff, let this be a warning.  Just because they put a 48 hour no-transfer after password changes, doesn't mean that's going to save you...

sigh.

Message 'btc-e.com' here - I can see it is a hero member account and last active on 21st December. Guess he didn't log in over the weekend.

I am hoping the lack of response is due to it being weekend. You really should have had 2FA enabled.

Even though support has contacted me, it is so frustrating to deal with.  I'm trying to explain a situation and something keeps getting lost in translation.

How is going with your account? My account has been hacked too, I tried contact with them with no luck. How did you contact with them?

Sorry to hear that - I just posted everywhere I could.  Also tried a lot on IRC as well.

I had 2FA yes

They were able to bypass it using a man in the browser attack, essentially stealing my cookies from my browser.  Very sneaky.  BTC-E ended up locking down my account before he could transfer the money out though.  I had changed my password 2 hours before he got in.
