I know some Ethereum forks that are fresh and doing well so far. One of the latest is GoChain. They are went through ico stage and now they are working like a ico platform. They have announced the first ico already. Another project is ICON, like I remember they also have forket eth last year. Eventually, it depends on the what the project try to achive. Right now current forks looks ok by me, especially when Ethereum development goes slow.

There are about two Ethereum forks out there like Gochain and Icon and they both did really well. Recently, there's been another Ethereum fork called EINC, let's see if they will be also solve some issues the Etheruem network is currently experiencing.

I know of several ethereum forks that have done so well and are still performing well in the space. The likes of ETC, EMO, ETF, ETI and some others. Although, there is one i am yet to know where it is heading to,which is EtherBTC (ETHB). Work seems to be pending on it, but i do not know what the team is up to in near future.

I dont think so, because we need new standalone tokens and coins, and not those, who will be a joint from another project, like forks are. We need to encourage developers to go with their own, unique ideas!
