Hi,

Today I started experiencing a problem with my Terraminer IV.  When I plug the PSU's in, the CTR1 light comes on (yellow) for a few seconds and then nothing.  The fans are all running, but neither of the Miner lights light up and it never registers on my network.

I tried the reset button but that didn't help.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

PS - I should have mentioned that I had to install a new router today.  And the problem started after that. Could there by any settings on the router that are causing isssues?

Suggests a short. You either have to RMA it or break it open yourself and look for something burnt.

I've got the exact same issue after 5 months of operation.  Mine happened right after updating the firmware (which was successful).  The next reboot - nothing.  If I open up the box, all I see are the orange leds "crawling" across the fan side of the boards.  The fans are blowing and the network light on my switch shows activity, but I do not see it on my router interface.  Any solutions or suggestions would be welcome.

EDIT:  Has anyone used a terminal to access the OS via the USB?  The User Manual says you can but gives no suggestion as to how.

Cointerra's Terraminer IV is officially POS (piece of shit) hardware.  Can't believe it only lasted 5 months. No ROI for me.  Even with the partial refund (which I have been waiting for since April, 2014, and I'm still waiting for), there is no return on investment with this junk technology.  Now I know why they are moving to cloud hashing, so they can swap out their junk every few months when they die.  Buyer beware!

Anyone want to buy mine for spare parts?  1 BTC plus shipping. Smiley
