Easter is almost here and stupid people buy live Rabbits for their kids thinking it's cute and then after easter they dump them in shelters or Even WOSE let them go into the wild thinking it's a good idea.
Domestic Rabbits will die or be killed if you let them go into the wild PERIOD! They have no burrowing or any other skills that would keep them alive.
If you plan on buying a Live Rabbit for your kids PLEASE be ready to commit to a 10 year period at least to take care of the Rabbit.

Domestic Rabbits do not have the skills to survive more than a few days in the wild. They would almost certainly be killed by a predator within a day or 2. Wild Rabbits know how to burrow to avoid being prey.
You could make soup out of them i'm sure but not what the topic was about.
I'm just saying, that's throwing money around..
