Can someone please explain why this post was deleted ? I had a look at the rules and cannot see which one it breached. I answered the question on topic and put some links in of devices that might solve their problems. Are newbies not allowed to post links ?

We are based in Ayrshire south west Scotland, our locations are very close to west
Coast, about a quarter mile from the sea. Lots of cool wind, however once we install all 80 rigs it’ll need ventilation, currently got 50 rigs installed in 4 locations, getting enough power seems to be an issue in Scotland, we’ve now got 4 places with 3 Phase supplies, 3 x 63 3 Phase and one 200amp 3 Phase, getting a sub station is now our plan, power is expensive but still profitable, in it for the long term

Rig List
26 Antminer S9
24 Whatsminer M3
3 Whatsminer M3X
1 Antminer A3
10 1050/1060/1080 Ethereum Rigs (SimpleOS)

Challenges
Getting direct access to wind farm energy
Remotely restarting rigs

Remote restart is easy https://numato.com/product/8-channel-ethernet-relay-module and wire them onto individual contactors or use something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Home-WiFi-Smart-Power-Wireless-Socket-Remote-Control-Outlet-Switch-EU-UK-US-Plug/401544104439?hash=item5d7de4c9f7:g:8TMAAOSwlzZbC76c

Your high power rates will kill your profit.

Consider using immersion liquid cooling to reduce your cooling costs - no fans - no noise - heat can be piped away to be used for heating an office etc..

There is a change it was deleted by mistake. Just a guess, but it's plausible that a mod that looks at recent newbie posts on the Patrol page and saw someone quoting an old post, when dealing with lots of spam some mistakes happen.

You should reach out to the Mining forum dedicated mods as they might know if something was wrong. I'll restore your post if they confirm.

Some more puzzling deletions :

Im kinda new to bitcoin talk and I'm enjoying joining in some of the conversations, but on occasions Im getting messages deleted.
I'm kind of curious why? Do admins have a delete post quota they need to fill?

for example below are two posts which I feel very much on topic with the subject matter..

the first one was about 'does god exist'
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1566146.0

and the second one was about 'are electric cars the future?'
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2862902.240

please advise are admins part time moonlighting as post critics?

Jet Cash also said some of his posts from his noobie alt account were deleted in the mining forum for unknown reasons.

I told the user I couldn't see any issue with his posts but also stated I'd post it on here for a further opinion.

We are surrounded by legends on this forum. Phenomenal successes and catastrophic failures. Then there are the scams. This forum is a digital museum.

Jet Cash also said some of his posts from his noobie alt account were deleted in the mining forum for unknown reasons.

I told the user I couldn't see any issue with his posts but also stated I'd post it on here for a further opinion.

Those posts in the screenshot seem like generic talking points and one was in a 200-page thread, another in a 10+ page thread, both seem to be just addressing the thread title and not engaging in the discussion. Could be considered low value posts depending on where exactly in the thread they were etc. Edit: the battery concern was definitely expressed in that thread about a dozen times so if FM posted towards the end of the thread then it indicates they didn't read it or didn't care.

Mining board (assuming we're talking about the Bitcoin one) is a different story. Moderation is very strict there. Any mention of GPU or altcoins and you're out.
