I read about the same ethereum-based tokens cold storages and there was told about the possibility to transfer funds without being connected to the Internet but I just do not understand how. How can this process work out without the information being transmitted?

I think if sending bitcoin without internet there will be no shipping transaction, because bitcoin runs on the internet, there must be an internet connection for each transaction.

That part of  Andrea's book sounds very interesting and confusing at thesame time. I remember wondering if something like that was possible
I bet I have used similar  thing to store some coins but wasn't aware of how it works
