I can't blame the man. He never hid his efforts to avoid being anywhere that's close to a conflicted territory but his fear may serve as an incentive to invest in more projects to develop immersive technologies so that he can visit deployed soldiers without having to face any risk.

But he just visited the troop in Iraq. By the way, Trump is a civilian and not a soldier. Not visiting the troop in war tore areas doesn't mean he's a coward. He should take his time and do whatever that pleased him provided those pleasures of his do not conflict with the American Constitution.

Because he is the first president in a long time to actually REDUCE wars not increase them, but hey who cares about peace right? Not like this is a demonstration of his will to stop meddling in the middle east or anything... no he can only be a warmonger because the head in the glowing talkey box told me so. Get yourself some principles first then we can talk about being civilized.

It is extremely uncommon for a sitting president to visit active war zones for pretty obvious security reasons. Nice attempt at a hit piece tho. Maybe next time.

Regardless of the President, why would he go to a war zone?There are military generals who should be in such zones and report on the situation from there.When will such zones finally disappear on our home planet?Why not live peacefully and not kill people.

Considering that previous presidents all did it about 4 or 5 times in their mandates it's not uncommon. Didn't say a lot but not uncommon.

And as far as I know he didn't visit troops in war zone that they be active or not.

That's 13 presidents - or 2x per presidency.

And, if one discounts Korea - outside of Ike in 52 you can subtract 8 visits making that 19 "war zones."  I would subtract two of Roosevelt's visits as well. The Germans had no forces capable of striking in February of 1945.
