So...

We're doing an 'extended homework' in PD where we have been given a 'virtual' £1000 (it would be better if it were real), and we were told to do whatever we want with it, to try and make the 'most' money.

Anyhoo, I (for some reason) decided to invest it into some 'virtual' virtual money... Lets see how this goes Wink

So, according to preev.com, £1000 is ~BTC2.604. Lets see how much BTC2.604 is worth in 4 weeks time...

Risky chance you are taking there. Anything can happen, might as well drop to $400 the week you turn in.

Turn off the news and read. Watch Psywar, learn something important about our society and PR, why and how it got started and how it brainwashes you.

I'll sell you 1,000 imaginary Bitcoins for your money. That'll show your teacher how much of a profit you'll make.

well it might be a lesson for you Smiley but you might not make a lot more in such a short period. There is a chance. I wish you will double your virtual money Tongue Tongue so people around will double their real money Cheesy

If you invested that 3 days ago you'd already have a nice (virtual) profit. It's a good moment because the trend is up and playing with bitcoins isn't as risky as people say. The biggest problem bitcoiners face are insecure exchanges.

BTC is good for long term investment. Store your BTCs securely and forget about it. Check back only after one year.

Well he mentioned it's not a real investment, only an assignment so he doesn't have a year.

As I know he invested only in BTC as you can read in #1 post. Smiley
