I got about 350 USD on my account when the card stopped working.
Now I can't even login to my account...
Is there any chance I can got my money back?
What message do you get after trying to login to your Mistertango account? Have you tried to contact their support. Their cards aren't working for a long time already, it's not likely that new cards will be launched soon. But it's still possible to withdraw money to your bank account using SEPA or SWIFT transfer.

On their website the login link did not work yesterday. And in the mobile app it said invalid credentials when I tried to login.
Today I could log in on the website, but cannot make any transactions as it says it's under maintenance...
Login in the mobile app still does not work with the same password...

I also tried to login today and I was able to do that. After I logged in I noticed message about maintenance displayed. Well, only thing that you can do now is wait until Mistertango will finnish maintenance work.

Last week I have initiated an outgoing 4-figure SEPA transfer from Mistertango which did not arrive on the beneficiary account until now.

Their support is not replying and I consider contacting the Bank of Lithuania (by whom they are regulated) to submit a complaint there and as a last resort contact a lawyer in Lithuania to take legal action against this so-called bank.

Does anyone else have similar experiences with them?

Their approach: first block account, ask questions later.

Information regarding your KYC questionnaire

Dear Client,

We wish to inform you that on your Mistertango account you can see a notification that you have to provide us with information about you. I recently received an eMail with the following content:

Quote
Dear Client,

We wish to inform you, that Mistertango started to use Cash Flow Restrictions Information System (hereinafter "PLAIS"). Is an automated information system that enables all authorities with the right of recovery to provide funds write-offs and restrictions instructions to credit institutions in a uniform manner.

Possible fees:
PLAIS system fee: 1.02 EUR
Mistertango maintenance fee: 0.87 EUR

Have a nice day!

What is the PLAIS system exactly and who are the authorities? Only authorities from Lithuania or from EU or even worldwide?

As I understand, it only works in Lithuania. It's controlled by Lithuanian Center of Registers. If you're not from Lithuania, it doesn't affect you. Sorry, but I can't find more information about in English.

I know that there is a popular financial anti laundering policy in EU today, but can you explain which documents do you require from people living not inside EU ? Do you accept people with Estonian E-Residancy ?

Looks like the central bank of Lithuania has suspended Mtango activity, citing AML. Or in other words we don't like the competition so we will shut you down by using regulation laws.

Too bad, Mtango is one of the best services to convert crypto to fiat and vice versa.

This is why people need Bitcoin and crypto, so we can have control of our hard earned money and not be at mercy of the corrupt.

Long Bitcoin and crypto, short the bankers.

And here is article with more details:
https://agenparl.eu/mistertango-uab-fined-e245-thousand-for-non-compliance-with-aml-requirements/
€245k fine is big for Mistertango, considering that they ended last year with a loss. In past it was good service, but I haven't used it since their debit card stopped working.
Speaking about this case, I'm not sure that's an attempt to remove competitor or Mistertango just made mistakes and were fined for it.

Seems that they are working currently. I just logged into my account (after few years) and I don't see any signs which would show that Mistertango is non-functional.
And in press, last news about Mistertango were back in May - then they got another fine.

Thank you for your reply. I am new to MisterTango.  Are you able to easy receive and transfer money from there? What about buying Bitcoin? Their BTC-Exchange seems strange and I am unable to sign up there.

I haven't used Mistertango recently and I have no money there now, so I can't say about current situation. But when I used it, there was no problems to send and receive money, like on common bank with SEPA transfers. And I haven't used their Bitcoin exchange.
