Cardano has an interesting aim at hand but i don't think it can replace Ethereum looking at its market cap and its volume within 24hrs. Ethereum was the platform that introduced smart contracts to help with the peer to peer idea Satoshi Nakamoto introduced with Bitcoin and this was a game changer to the crypto world. Ethereum platform involved developers to understand cryptography to a level they were able to create their own smart contracts on the ethereum blockchain. Cardano has a better chance to be one of the top used cryptocurrencies than trying to replace Ethereum.

Cardano is no way going to surpass Ethereum on the market. Ethereum beats Cardano more than 12 times in terms of market cap. Cardano has a long way to climb up in order to catch up with Ethereum. The CEO should focus on building a strong and much supportive community and also consider more developments on the Cardano Blockchain instead of worrying about surpassing Ethereum.

I'm absolutely sure speculation of this type will never end. People will always do it with Cardano, EOS or other currency. Even if it happens that ETH will be replaced, all fun will start again with a different currency. So far, comparing the marketcap of both currencies, the answer can be only one.

No doubt that CARDANO was one of the potential altcoins in the world of crypto. But I doubt that ADA can surpass Ethereum this year 2019, it

Every coin have a chance to replace ethereum or bitcoin, its depend on investor. But for business platform, i think ethereum is good and could be primary investment after bitcoin.
