Has anybody used Cryptake.com

I recently recieved BTC on cryptake but am finding it nearly impossible to transfer to my blockchain wallet. I'm curious, has any one ever used this site before?

The cryptake.com seems an old gambling site and now turns to exchange site.

About .cc domain I can't access the site it seems it use only for spamming.


So both of them possible is made for scamming purposes. Much better to stay away from them.

thats just the thing. i cant figure out how to transfer my btc from crptake.com to my blockchain. when i contact support they give me some message about how i have to transfer 0.02BTC FROM blockchain TO cryptake when all i am trying to do is take my money out of cryptake. this is leading me to believe it is a scam but I figured i'd see if anyone from here has heard of them or worked with them that might be able to help me out or has been successful with them in the past.

It is a guaranteed scam method to scam you 0.02 BTC, can you tell us how you got your BTC on cryptake? If I am correct you have offered services or sold something and you were paid through cryptake? I have seen this type of cases a while ago. Do not send a single penny. They are scam.

Indeed but the question here is that did OP really offered a service or sold a good because if he just received an email saying "Congratulations! You received a .02 btc blah blah" out of nowhere then he is just wasting his time for nothing. It was a scam for sure. I say so because my friend experienced the same thing last Monday (as far as I remember), he get such email without even investing or joining any raffle draw in the first place.

Next time you should stick to a wallet like Electrum to manage your address. Don't use exchange addresses even if they're legit. There might be additional fees when you have to cash out but that's a cheap price to pay for security.

This sounds a well planned scam. You must know what are you accepting and how they work before you complete a deal. You can all this in this forum too. Just use on forum escrow all the time.

It's highly possible scammer has contacted first and offered them BTC as payment. People are so naive that they don't get the scam method.

ya this was totally on me i got a few steam gift cards  and since i dont use steam i choose to sell them online. i was contacted by someone who said they could only pay me in bit coin and i was like hey well its worth a try. this is totally on me as i am fairly new to actually selling things online and admitatly a little naive as to certain scams. thanks for the imput everyone. i doubt its gonna help but i am going to contact steam and see if there is a way that they can penalize who entered theses codes (I sold them 2). and maybe they could help if i send them a picture of the 2 codes i sent this person. i doubt it will help and i dont even really care that much about getting my money back. now i just want to penalize this scammer if at all possible.

So, the man who bought your giftcards tells you to use cryptake exchange? Or you just found the site somewhere?

If he bought the steam from you without referring to use cryptake well that man might be legit who bought your steam giftcards. But if he refers you to cryptake exchange I believe that he owns the sites and use for scamming.

Next time go directly here on the forum to ask if the website is safe or not.
And use a proper wallet where you can receive your BTC if you sold something online.

No, there's no way to find those scammers after they scam someone and it's impossible to penalize them.
All of cryptake whois info is fake that mostly use for many websites.

The domain is registered on NameCheap so I think you can report it to Namecheap.

It's possible that those scammers will sell it to other persons first tho. Let's just hope they won't scam another person with your codes.

Is there any other info? Like their user id, from where did they contact you, etc. Assuming there are other sellers on the website/platform that you use to promote your gift cards, those infos might help them.
