LOL... this summarizes it. I have no doubt that Ethereum is a ground breaking innovation (at least when compared to the other shitcoins out there, such as DOGE and Litecoin). But most of the innovations that Ethereum brought to the market are not in use right now. The smart contract option showed a lot of promise, but the real life usage has remained at low levels.

Of course, this alternative has only a too small hope when the arrangement from the early times favored bitcoin more, instead of eth, with exaggeration and constant pump pricing too well, factors that have led to a permanent dominance of bitcoin, eth may have potentials similar to bitcoin but the market and the people have identified their king and they want to maintain it for a long time. I think it is a possibility that ethereum will overcome bitcoin someday because Ethereum provides more uses than Bitcoin does and has better technology. But I dont think that it will happen anytime soon. Bitcoin, being the first in the crypto industry has already created a community that many will support it even with its limitation.

Absolutely, Ethereum has a really good platform making it famous and useful every time, the smart contract is really an awesome platform making any transaction faster and easier that we do not need any lawyers before and after the transaction. Maybe someday that can happen but as of now, bitcoin is still dominating the market having the biggest value and also the largest volume since it was started. Any alternative coin also cannot dominate bitcoin as of now. Maybe someday they can make or produce some innovative blockchain technology that can encourage more investors and buyers to support it.

Indeed, bitcoin is still the most used crypto of all that is why it is the number one cryptocurrency as of now. There are lots of things and businesses that are using bitcoin, such as gambling, investing and etc. We all know that ETH is next to bitcoin that is why they are comparing the two. We can see the result in the future but the most important thing as of now is the halving of bitcoin if it can make the price pumps or not.

according to my personal analysis, I think it's very unlikely because bitcoin is the top coin in the cryptoqurrency industry. bitcoin has a high sale value and many use it for future investments. but for me ETH is a potential altcoin, but will never replace bitcoin.

Although many people are more familiar with bitcoin than ethereum there are still a chance that the ethereum may replace bitcoin but still it have a less chance because the liquidity of bitcoin is more than the liquidity of the ethereum and bitcoin is more powerful compare to the ethereum, if this would really happen then it will really takes some time in order to replace king bitcoin by the ethereum.

That's certainly true, mate. But even so, Ethereum has the potential of outpacing Bitcoin because of its many advanced functionalities. Smart contracts allows Ethereum to be used in areas far beyond that of finance. It's no secret that Ethereum is one of the most actively developed and maintained cryptocurrencies after Bitcoin. With Vitalik on-board, you could expect Ethereum to be quite successful in the mainstream world. After all, Vitalik is one of the greatest minds in the Blockchain space right now.

I believe that the reason why ETH has been uncapable of replacing Bitcoin, is because the latter has first-mover advantage. Bitcoin is (and will always be) the most trusted cryptocurrency in the world for a very good reason. It's the oldest cryptocurrency in existence with a tried-and-tested blockchain network for decentralized finance. Ethereum may be doing good ever since it launched back in 2015, but it still has a long way to go to if it wants to replace Bitcoin (which I doubt it ever will). The unlimited supply of ETH would make it practically impossible to overcome Bitcoin's market cap. Ethereum is better as a complement to the Bitcoin blockchain than anything else.

Nonetheless, it's certain that many wild and unexpected things happen in crypto land. Ethereum replacing Bitcoin could be one of them. I've seen how worthless coins turned out to become widely popular within a short time frame (eventually replacing other coins). The same might happen with Ethereum (although not a worthless coin) in the future if it gains massive traction in the mainstream world while Bitcoin's demand remains at an All-time-low. It's also possible to use the ETH blockchain for other purposes such as voting, proof of identity, verification of documents, and more. In contrast, Bitcoin's only use is for finance where it cannot be implemented in other areas by its own.

Given all of the benefits Ethereum provides on top of Bitcoin, it makes me wonder whenever it'll be able to replace the pioneer cryptocurrency within the future? As long as, Ethereum keeps progressing in development and mainstream acceptance, it'll be much closer to Bitcoin every step of the way. What are your thoughts?

Ethereum and bitcoin are presently on the high value, the rule closely in among all other Cryptocurrency, though the usage effeciency of ethereum tends to be more than the bitcoin. Ethereum makes a vital blochchain, and doesn't really act at bitcoin in circulation as bitcoin. Bitcoin is more of the direct currency available for usage.ethereum can easily birth more currency. I feel it is better ethereum remain the bedrock of the currency, and make a platform for bitcoin than taking over from bitcoin.
