My father bought 2 bitcoin back in 2017 and supposedly put onto a multibit hd wallet! He has the word phrases and I am confident that they are right as he is a very precise person. I have imported the wallet address into electrum and also bitcoin wallet but they show no transactions. I have had a professional company look at this as well and they confirm this. If it did not end up in the wallet, any idea how these can be found on his pc?
Thanks for any help

If you can't see any transactions, then you must've imported the wrong wallet. Did you check the BIP39 option when restoring into Electrum? And which derivation path have you used?

Can you try to follow the guide from this link below.

It must be BIP39 enabled with derivation path m/0′ according to the guide above.

If it did not end up in the wallet, any idea how these can be found on his pc?

If the above doesn't work try to look for the encrypted file on his PC use keyword this keyword "mbhd.wallet.aes" or "wallet.aes" without quotes.
You can found them mostly under this C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\MultiBitHD\<wallet-id>\mbhd.wallet.aes

Then you need to extract the private keys from the encrypted wallet file follow the guide from this link below.

After extracted all private keys you can now import/sweep them to Electrum.

Double check that the addresses that have been created in Electrum start with a "1"... if they don't, then you've selected the wrong script type when restoring the wallet. Make sure that you select "Legacy (p2pkh)" and then set the derivation path as: m/0'

If they do start with a "1"... and you had the derivation path selected correctly... and there is no history showing in Electrum, then unfortunately it would appear that your father has a "valid" recovery phrase, but not the one that was for the wallet where he received the coins.

Note that MultibitHD allowed a user to create multiple wallet files. So, if your father has no other seed phrases, I would suggest taking BitMaxz's advice and looking for mbhd.wallet.aes files in the "C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\MultiBitHD" folder.
