I think next big trend in crypto will come in 2022 or 2023 when bulls market would have settled and we would be into next downtrend.
I think next big trend will also be in defi category but this time defi would be advanced with real world use cases, extraordinary products and services that will really challenge traditional financial system as people will rush to adopt defi products.

For now we can tell that De-Fi is really popular, however, this market is changing very fast so expect De-Fi's popularity will drop while a new one will be appreciated. People here love the hype, and that makes this market so interesting since we love to take risk.
