Is it impossible to level me up? The Merit questions of member guy

When he woke up three years later, the OP wrote an accusatory post that he had not been promoted, and again, apparently, went into hibernation. But the question was asked, and as an example, you can answer that sometimes with one post, you can immediately become two ranks higher.
And I am sure that there was no selfish interest here, which cannot be said about the OP himself, who, although in jest, tried to achieve merits.

The only thing that can stop you from being a higher ranked member is yourself, just put a bit more effort, try to learn more about the topics here, try to share your opinions on things you know as well as ask questions for stuffs you don't know but would like to know, and try to blend in the community without thinking about how much merit you have, you will see you will soon start to receive merits without even noticing it, you will be ranked up, post in a way which will make yourself give that post a merit had you been a merit source!

I am not sure what OP expects will happen to be honest. As lovesmayfamilis pointed out, this thread is the only post he made since 2018 and he hasn't contributed anything else to the forum.

How do you expect to rank up if you aren't active on the forum and you have no posts that appear anywhere in the recent 3 years? Users merit new posts they can see and that they find useful. No one will look for members who were active 3 years ago to see what they wrote in 2018. Start taking part in the discussions and things might change.

Most of those who have responded to your post deserve merits.  You do not.

You woke up two weeks ago and recovered your password via email.  How long were you asleep for?

You have received just two merits from someone called cfif (one of those merits is border line, the other not warranted AFAI'mC) - to make matters worse, you gave your one earned merit back to cfif under three minutes after receiving the first one from them (most of the users on that same page are now banned which speaks volumes of the quality of the work on offer)

(Your one and only merit given was for a Russian Language post - you stopped writing in Russian on the 6th of February, 2018 - two days after receiving two merits)

I count four or five German language posts at that same time (mid Feb 2018) but at no other time.

Yes, you are an old user but unfortunately you have just woken up and the rules regarding rank up have changed regarding the Merit system, I think you just need to start being active again to make quality posts, because only then will you get Merit and increase your account ranking. It's still possible but it takes hard work!
