It used to be kings and monarchs who hijacked religions in order for them to get what they wanted in military campaigns, it is not kings anymore who are doing such a thing, but leaders of extremist factions from all around the world, the middle east just happens to have many of those extremist and waring factions in a relatively small geographical area.
Politicians also use religion to reach their goals, sure,  Trump is a good example of it and the way me managed to appeal to evangelists in the United States and even to some Catholics, so they would feel inclined to vote for him.

Whatever the case, what goes on in the middle east seems to be just tragedy after tragedy with little hope for a long term solution to the conflict.

All religions are prone to create self-righteous individuals. All of them AFAIK propose a set of rules that is fixed, cannot be questioned and, as any human language, prone to have more than one interpretation - particularly because they were written in historical contexts that have absolutely nothing to do with current.

Religious people tend to be MORE selfish, more inflexible and LESS likely to forgive others.

The report “The Negative Association between Religiousness and Children’s Altruism Across the World”has been published by the journal Current Biology.

Academics from seven universities around the world studied the responses of almost 1200 children from countries including the United States, Canada, Turkey, and China — but not the UK. They were looking to see whether the children’s religious upbringing had an effect on their altruism. All the children were aged between five and 12, and represented all the main faiths, and those of no faith.

Researchers tested children’s altruism by giving them stickers, and then telling them that there were not enough to go round, to see if they would share with classmates.

They also tested children’s responses to seeing acts of meanness and bullying on screen, and observed that children from religious homes were in favour of harsher punishments for such actions than children from non-religious homes.

Researchers said that their findings contradicted the commonly accepted view that religion had a positive effect on moral behaviour. In fact, they said, the evidence suggested that children from non-religious backgrounds were more generous and forgiving than those with faith backgrounds, and that the older a child grew, and the longer he or she had spent in a religious home, the stronger the link with selfishness became.

I wouldn't put blames on any of the religion, and I don't think that Muslim as a religion is the problem in the Middle East but the individuals who practice it. The leaders are to teach their followers the right way to practice their religion and not the wrong way. Down here is my country, the core Muslims have been deceived by their leaders to the point that they can create violence anytime and they are ready to kill and die in that violence, because they have been brainwashed that if they die fighting, ten virgins await them in heaven.

Religious are never to be blamed for anything but for the people that practice it because even as some persons has the same region their believes sometimes are not the same and what you said about being misled by there leaders is actually true because they could be made to believe anything they're told weather is something good or not, if somebody is deceived to think that they would be meeting their creator if they did not make on the war, definitely such person might even be creating more things that would cause war and wouldn't care who gets affected because they see a better life than the one they have in another World, so if only people would listen to what there religious said and not paying attention to the doctrine of another we would see that every religion is good.

Iran has gone through too many battles sponsored by the US, even if they once had a good relationship in the past before the Iran and Iraq war. Saudi Arabia may also be supporting the USA in this war, because I watched the Prince smile when Trump made mention of his deal with Iran that will result to war if they don't comply. Basically, Syria and Libya should be with Iran, but they're close to completing the assimilation of the Uraniam about 60%, which shows how powerful Iran can be in this battle against numerous enemies. And protecting itself.

The biggest problem with Islam is that Muslims only believe that Jesus was a prophet, if that.

Anybody who doesn't understand that Jesus was appointed by the Great Creator GOD, to be the God of this universe, will at least have trouble being accepted by God in the judgment.

Better to be a Messiah believing Zionist, or a Jesus-God believing Christian, and having a chance to be saved for eternity, than a Muslim who doesn't recognize the power of Jesus-God.

Before you were born, did you know somewhere like this earth existed, no right?  So why pay so much interest in where you are to spend eternity ? One thing is that almost all these religions encourage peaceful coexistence, but on the contrary, we see only the opposite happening, obviously because of the different ideologies and teachings being imparted to people of even the same race and cultural backgrounds.

All my life, I have witnessed these religious battles in my country, and it is even politicised now. I won't be wrong if I say we don't need religions at all with all their contradicting teachings. Truth is, religion is causing more harm than good now.

But how can it be said that Jesus was appointed by the Great Creator to be the Lord of the universe..? And if so, then there is something greater and more noble than God Himself..? God is one and does not depend on anyone, does not beget and is not born, and there is nothing equal to Him.

If GOD appoints men to be kings or presidents of nations how can HE not make JESUS the LORD of the Universe, of which HE is far greater than?  There is nothing greater than GOD. HE is the FATHER of all creations, and even appoints people to rule over them. That doesn't make them greater than GOD.
Ofcourse, GOD is one, and HE can exist in multiple places at a time. That part of HIM is JESUS.

GOD can live in human body. That's what happened through the human body of JESUS.  GOD operated through the Body. That JESUS is SPIRIT of GOD HIMSELF inside human body.

Paradoxically, how could God create another god greater than his own god? When Jesus was made a god, it meant that there was someone greater than him. God is great, so there is no one greater or equal to him. If God created Jesus as a god, then his nature would be equal, and that would cancel his divine nature.

We believe that Prophet Jesus will come down at the end of time, but not as a god but as a community of Prophet Muhammad. He will come down to call on humanity to believe in Allah and follow the teachings of Islam, because Islam is the one that will provide true salvation to humanity.

Everybody is oppressed by death. The only way to life is through Jesus. Everything else might have good and it might have evil. But it is only for this life. Seek Jesus-God for eternal life.

Why should I bother looking for God, because God is always there for his people. It is not God who is far from us, but we who are far from God and his teachings. And Jesus is not God..!!!

Ibn Rushd once said, "If you want to control the fools, wrap evil in religion," a message he delivered in the 12th century AD, but this message is still appropriate for today's events.

Currently, there are quite a lot of religious people who do not accept other religions, they are really crazy about religion, become someone who is fanatic, who in the end they are only used by others.

And I just advise you to never feel the most correct, because perhaps the truth that we express today is a mistake that has not been revealed. So we cannot say that Christianity is the most correct and the best religion just because we are Christians. All religions teach goodness and all religions are true, it's just that there are not a few people who use the name of religion for personal interests and also power. They try to fool their people, by carrying out doctrines in order to achieve their goals.

And once again I advise you that "the beginning of human destruction is when he thinks that he is the most correct."

The biggest problem in the Middle East is not Islam, but the biggest problem in the Middle East is people who try to exploit religion for their own personal gain.

One of the biggest problems in the world is ISLAM. Wanna see why? Simply read the Koran and the Hadiths. What they say is, peace for Muslims, and destruction for anybody who will not become a Muslim.

There are a few Muslims out there who are Muslim by REAL choice. The rest of them were born into Islam, and don't know the freedom outside of it... or they were threatened with death for themselves and their families if they did not join.

Islam is not 'a religion of peace'. It's a religion of slavery.
