It is very likely that due to the movements of the bitcoin market now LTC is taking a good bullish turn, for its part ETH does the same with the rise of 10%, however the dominance of Bitcoin is at 50%, this is favorable for LTC, and is demonstrated here:

“LTC: Potential 50/200 bullish EMA cross on the 1D for BTC pair incoming, this would be very significant IMO. Haven’t seen that since 2019.  I’m bullish on Litecoin still and think it’s going to go to $420,” he tweeted.

If this view is proven to be correct, LTC may see a rise close to nearly 52% from its current price level.

The technical view for LTC/USD on the 4-hour chart suggests a bullish flip, even though bears might still have a say given the long shadow on the current candle.

Absolutely right. LTC is mini Bitcoin and it had not shown its real colour during the current Rally of Altcoins. Its rally started a bit late but now the charts are very positive and it can surprise everybody with its performance. Currently is is facing  tough resistance around 375  and next likely target is above $420 if breakout happens from here..

Absolutely right. The market is very uncertain and making new low everyday so it is not right time to buy at current price. No body can correctly predict when and from where market will pull back. If still somebody is willing to buy LTC then he should adopt 3 steps strategy to dollar avaege your buying cost. Support and Resistance charts are helpful to take entry but use daily or weekly charts.

so sorry but this token remains one of the worst investment I have made. trading litcoin has always been loose for me. i have not earn anything. i always sell in a loss. it is difficult knowing when to sell and you will never notice litcoin do a 2x WITHin short time. tokens like Litecoins, eos are in the same category where traders are not significantly relivants.

yes, I hope bitcoin dominance can drop to 60%. This would be good not only for Litecoin but all the altcoins on the market would be affected. Currently LTC is in a good condition. and if bitcoin stops rising. This will be a great opportunity for Litecoin to return to ATH.

The current spike was resulted solely from Bitcoin and the altcoins don't have any role in the bull run. And this is the reason why the Bitcoin dominance rose from 57% to 68% in less than three months. I won't be surprised if the Bitcoin dominance increases to 80% or above in the next few months. Altcoins survived for so long, but their time is up. Users don't want to invest in coins without real usage.

Exactly my thoughts. Alts like LTC despite the coin being in the top 10 cryptocurrencies have no say in a bull run. Only BTC determines the market trends for other alts and its dominance dictates market prices since many investors see value in holding BTC not alts.

So now down to the point, is LTC going to break new resistances and go through a major breakout - I think it is all down to BTC and the way it is now under 30k I'm not qualified to say if this is the start of the much anticipated bears or a renumeration if the bulls! It's a wait and see situation.

It is certainly a sleeping Giant and it will certainly wake one day and go many X but when hard to predict. Most likely in the next Bull Run that is likely to happen by the end of 2021. It is mini Bitcoin and accepted in many European countries like Bitcoin and Ethereum, its transaction fee is also very less compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.. Now it is in accumulation phase and good opportunity to buy on every dip.

The breakaway is yet unknown, but for those believers who have spare money to invest, this coin is also good for long term
investment. like how you describe it, there are people who already using this as alernative with ETH and BTC.

Lower transaction fee and have decent community, long term assessments, this coin will bring decent profits.

LTC has been talked about as a long-term investment with profit potential.
LTC may still be following BTC at this time, this is because BTC still has strong dominance. but when BTC starts to stabilize with smaller movements. we can see the opportunities of altcoins to make greater adoption. LTC can gain momentum when altcoins are on a good rally move.

Many new altcoins have overcome LTC by their market cap value. And litecoin gradually going down from it's position. Even there was no price explosion for LTC during the last bull trend of crypto market. But litecoin have huge popularity as an old crypto. So, we shouldn't loss our faith from this sleeping giant. A bigger price movement will happen for sure. But it will take a bit longer time.

No one can accurately predict the cryptocurrency market, everyone can only make their own predictions.
Personally, I think the market in general and LTC in particular will decline until the end of 2021.

I think LTC has to trade between these two trend lines which could be a better match for LTC. If we can't get here, we could soon see prices below 100 But right now I see that LTC is going between the two lines, which is a good thing.

The hope that there is actual development going on behind this old alt, may indeed is up and working.
But first, they need to achieve again their ATH or even surpass it.
Right now, the crypto market is still in the recovery phase.
But if they will continue to forge partnerships with top companies, breakout would be easy once btc is in the upward movement.
